Featured Partner: ProTech Fire, Inc.
As construction moves forward on our new Rockdale County Judicial and Administrative Complex, we remain committed to creating fair and inclusive contracting opportunities. We’re empowering local, small and historically underutilized businesses*, to build brighter futures for all and foster long-term success across Rockdale County.
This month, we’re proud to feature ProTech Fire, a Georgia-based provider of comprehensive fire protection services. Known for their dedication to safety, quality, and resource conservation, ProTech Fire is helping safeguard our new complex with top-tier fire suppression systems.
ProTech Fire’s story began in 1990 when founders Paul Johnson and Lyle Parish launched Certified Fire Protection, Inc. in Norcross, GA—with just a single pickup truck and their personal tools. Their commitment to excellence led to rapid growth, making CFPI one of the Southeast’s leading special hazard companies.
In 1996, Johnson went on to establish ProTech Fire, Inc., focusing on fire sprinkler systems and specialized foam installations. Today, ProTech Fire has grown significantly, but continues to deliver the same personalized, small-business service that has defined their success from day one.
The ProTech Fire team’s goal is simple: carry out every task with respect for their employees, business partners and customers. We’re thrilled to have them—and other local and Equal Business Opportunity (EBO)* partners—on board as we work towards a shared vision of growth, equality, and opportunity for all.
Stay tuned as we continue to highlight our local and EBO partners and our journey to reimagine Rockdale, together.
* Historically underutilized businesses means at least 51% of the independent company or corporation’s stock is owned by one or more minority persons or socially and economically disadvantaged individuals who are a citizen or lawful permanent resident of the United States. We’re empowering these companies through the Equal Business Opportunity Program.
